J. P. Dahlén
Jonas Petter Dahlén (also called ''"Dahlén i Kiruna"'', meaning 'Dahlén in Kiruna'; 14 November 1881 in Ragunda – 23 January 1938 in Jukkasjärvi) was a Swedish mine worker and politician.''Tvåkammarriksdagen 1867-1970'' (Almqvist & Wiksell International 1992), band 5, pp. 411-412 Dahlén was elected to the second chamber of the Swedish parliament, from the northern constituency of Norrbotten, representing the Social Democratic Left Party. He was one of seven members of parliament belonging to the Social Democratic Left Party. When the party metamorphosed into the Communist Party of Sweden upon adopting the twenty-one conditions of the Communist International, Dahlén was the sole parliamentarian that remained in the party. Norrbotten
Norrbotten (), known in English as North Bothnia, is a Swedish province (''landskap'') in northernmost Sweden. It borders south to Västerbotten, west to Swedish Lapland, and east to Finland. Administration The traditional provinces of Sweden serve no administrative or political purposes, but are historical and cultural entities. In this case, however, the county is older than the province. When the new national border to the Russian Grand Duchy of Finland formed, the province of Västerbotten split in two, and formed the municipalities of Kolari, Muonio, Pello, Tornio, and Ylitornio. However, Finnish Västerbotten is not recognized enough as its own historical province, so it's usually merged instead with Ostrobothnia, however leaving out Muonio to Laponia. The northernmost of the counties of Sweden were created in 1810 consisting of the northern parts of Lappland and Västerbotten. Socialist Party is the name of many different political parties around the world. All of these parties claim to uphold some form of socialism, though they may have very different interpretations of what "socialism" means. Nils Flyg
Nils Svante Flyg (9 June 1891 – 9 January 1943) was a Swedish Communist politician who turned pro-Nazi during World War II. Nils Flyg was born and raised in Södermalm, a working-class area of Stockholm at the time. Early on he joined the Swedish Social Democratic Party's youth organization, the Swedish Social Democratic Youth League. In 1917, Flyg took part in the founding of a new leftist party, a group headed by Zeth Höglund and Karl Kilbom, which would soon become the Communist Party of Sweden. Flyg became an important leader of the Communist Party, wrote books and went on political trips to the Soviet Union. In the general election of 1928, with the Flyg-dominated Communists cooperating with the dominant Social Democratic Party, he failed to achieve an influential position as voters failed to show substantial support for a Communist-Social Democratic coalition. Jukkasjärvi (; Sámi languages, Sami: ''Čohkkiras'') is a urban areas of Sweden, locality situated in Kiruna Municipality, Norrbotten County, Sweden with 548 inhabitants in 2010. It is situated at 321 meters elevation. The name is of Northern Sami origin, where ''Čohkkirasjávri'' means ''lake of assembly'', as the area by the lake by which the village was founded was a Sami people, Sami marketplace. The village got its first Finnish-speaking resident settlers in the 17th century, who changed the name into the more Finnish language, Finnish-sounding Jukkasjärvi, thereby removing its meaning, although ''järvi'' (''jávri'' in Sami) still means ''lake'' in Finnish. Karl Kilbom (8 May 1885 – 24 December 1961) was a Sweden, Swedish politician and one of the founders of the Left Party (Sweden), Communist Party of Sweden. Youth As the son of a blacksmith, Karl Kilbom grew up in a working class family of Walloons, Walloon origin in the small town of Österbybruk outside Uppsala, where he started working in the steel mills at an early age. In the year 1900, a socialist agitator visited Österbybruk to talk to the workers of the mills. Karl Kilbom, only 15 years old, was one of the 7 people who stayed after the meeting to participate in the formation of a socialist club in Österbybruk with the goal to establish a Trade union, union.
