J.R. Sweezy
Justin Ross "J. R." Sweezy (born April 8, 1989) is a former American football guard. He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round, 225th overall, of the 2012 NFL draft. He played college football at NC State. Early life Sweezy was born in North Carolina, to Bryan and Susan Sweezy. He is the older brother of sister Madison Sweezy. Sweezy grew up a North Carolina State Wolfpack fan, as his grandfather had previously played fullback for NC State. As a linebacker at Mooresville High School in Mooresville, North Carolina, his junior year he recorded 115 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, and three sacks. His senior year he recorded 195 tackles, 14 tackles-for-loss, six sacks, and four forced fumbles in 12 games. Guard (gridiron Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. Quarterback Sack
In gridiron football, a sack occurs when the quarterback (or another offensive player acting as a passer) is tackled behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a forward pass, when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the " pocket" and without clear intent, or when a passer runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage due to defensive pressure. John Moffitt (American Football)
John David Moffitt (born October 28, 1986) is a former American football offensive guard who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin. Moffitt also played for the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles. The 2012 NFL draft was the 77th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players for their rosters. Thomas Lee Cable Jr. (born November 26, 1964) is an American football coach who last was the offensive line coach for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL).
