J-Pop Summit
J-POP SUMMIT is a Japanese cultural festival held every summer since 2009 in San Francisco, California, United States.J-Pop Summit#cite note-1, [1] It is hosted by SUPERFROG Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The festival brings together different aspects of Japanese culture, such as music, fashion, film, art, games, tech-innovations, anime, food, as well as niche subcultures. The festival is also getting attention by foreign companies and organizations as a promotional opportunity and an entry point into US markets. In 2014, the festival was held in Japantown, San Francisco, Japantown and had over 125,000 in attendance over two days. JAM Project
JAM Project ("JAM" standing for "Japan Animationsong Makers") are a Japanese anison band founded on July 19, 2000 by anison singer Ichirou Mizuki. The band is composed of many vocal artists well known in the anime music industry. Aside from the many anime, tokusatsu, and video game theme songs the band has performed together, each member is famous for their own solo performances of Japanese theme songs. JAM Project is known to worldwide audiences for their theme music contributions to ''Garo'' and ''One Punch Man.'' Danceroid (stylized as DANCEROID) was a Japanese female net idol dance group affiliated with Beautiful Group talent agency. They were formed in October 2009 when they posted a video of themselves dancing to a Vocaloid song on the Nico Nico Community Group. On July 26, 2014, DANCEROID disbanded as per the wishes of the current members. is a Japanese artist and architect who was born in Kumamoto. He graduated from Waseda University's department of architecture in 2001. He is most known for his Zero Yen Project, which involves studying structures built at no cost, such as shanties made by the homeless. The Zero Yen Project involved building dwellings after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant meltdowns following the March 2011 earthquake and subsequent tsunami that devastated the Tohuku region.
