J'maine Hopgood
J'maine Dale Hopgood (born 11 May 1999) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Parramatta Eels in the National Rugby League (NRL). He previously played for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL. Early life Hopgood was born in Hervey Bay, Queensland. He grew up playing for the Hervey Bay Seagulls before moving to Caloundra, Queensland at age 16, where he played for the Caloundra Sharks. Hopgood's father Dale died of a heart attack on 24 March 2007, aged 39, less than an hour after playing a match for the Seagulls. Playing career Early career In 2017, Hopgood captained Penrith's S. G. Ball Cup (under-18s) squad during his first season at the club. Later that same year, he played for the Queensland under-18s team. Hervey Bay () is a city on the coast of the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, Australia. The city is situated approximately or 3½ hours' highway drive north of the state capital, Brisbane. The Northern Suburbs Devils, or North Brisbane Devils, or often simply referred to as Norths for short, are a rugby league club representing the northern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. Haumole Olakau'atu (born 1 October 1998) is a Tonga international rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League (NRL). Background Olakau'atu was born in Guildford, New South Wales, Australia, and is of Tongan descent. Olakau'atu played junior rugby league with Berala Bears and Wentworthville Magpies. The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The team colours are maroon and white, while their namesake and logo is the sea eagle. They compete in Australia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL). Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches.
