Işıl Alben
Işıl Alben (born 22 February 1986) is a Turkish professional basketball player for Galatasaray, who is often considered to be among the top Turkish female athletes. She was the captain of the first Turkish team that won the EuroLeague title in 2014. On 3 June 2023, Alben announced that she had ended her professional basketball career. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. They must also be able to adapt to what the defense is allowing and must control the pace of the game. A point guard specializes in certain skills, like other player positions in basketball. The International Basketball Federation (FIBA ; French: ) is an association of national organizations which governs the sport of basketball worldwide. Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury
An anterior cruciate ligament injury occurs when the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is either stretched, partially torn, or completely torn. The most common injury is a complete tear. Symptoms include pain, an audible cracking sound during injury, instability of the knee, and joint swelling. Swelling generally appears within a couple of hours. In approximately 50% of cases, other structures of the knee such as surrounding ligaments, cartilage, or meniscus are damaged.
