Emilio Arturo Izaguirre Girón (; born 10 May 1986) is a Honduran former professional association football, footballer who played as a left-back. He became the new sporting director of Motagua in October 2022. Izaguirre started his career at F.C. Motagua, Motagua, where he played at for seven years. Boris Rodolfo Izaguirre Lobo ( Caracas, 29 September 1965), better known as Boris Izaguirre, is a Venezuelan writer, TV host, screenwriter, journalist and showman. Career Izaguirre wrote the scripts of some of the Venezuelan telenovelas: ''Ruby'' and ''La dama de rosa''. After their success in Spain, he moved to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. Junior Gustavo Izaguirre Puerto (born 12 August 1979) is a Honduran retired football defender, who most recently played for F.C. Motagua in the Honduran Liga Nacional. Club career Izaguirre started his professional career at Honduran giants F.C. Motagua with whom he stayed for 8 years. He was the hero of the 2001 Apertura championship final when he scored all three of Motagua's goals against Marathón. Leandro Izaguirre (February 13, 1867 in Mexico City – February 26, 1941 in Mexico City) was a Mexican painter, illustrator and teacher. He entered the Academia de San Carlos in Mexico City in 1884. He is perhaps best known for his ''Torture of Cuauhtémoc'' (1892) which he would demonstrate a year later in Philadelphia and win an award for. The realist painting depicts the last Aztec emperor Cuauhtémoc. For some years Izaguirre was a professor at the Academia, and had work commissioned in Europe (1904-6). Pablo Alejandro Izaguirre (born April 9, 1970 in Avellaneda) is a former Argentine football player who is currently LD Alajuelense's Assistant Head Coach. He played in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia, but his best years were in the Costa Rican Primera División playing for LD Alajuelense. He made his debut in Costa Rican Primera División back on 1999 playing for LD Alajuelense against Deportivo Saprissa, but only lasted 11 minutes on the field where he received two early yellow cards.
