Ivy Rahman
Ivy Rahman ( bn, আইভি রহমান;; 7 July 1934 – 24 August 2004) was a Bangladeshi politician. She was the Women's Affairs secretary of Awami League. She was killed in the 2004 Dhaka grenade attack. Career Rahman was the founding organizing secretary of Awami League's Women's wing, Mohila Awami League, established by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1969. She was elected Women Affairs Secretary of Awami League Central Working Committee in 1978 and 2 years later she became the President of Mohila Awami League. She had served in those positions until 2002. From 1996 to 2001, Ivy served as the chair of ''Jatiya Mohila Sangstha'' and ''Bangladesh Jatiya Mohila Samabaya Samity''. Bhairab ( bn, ভৈরব) is a upazila of Kishoreganj District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Joanshahi was another name of Bhairab. The city centre of this upazila is Bhairab Bazaar. Sheikh Rehana
Sheikh Rehana Siddiq (born 13 September 1957) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician. She is the younger sister of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the daughter of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. She is also the mother of Tulip Siddiq, who is a British Labour Party politician and elected Member of Parliament (MP) for the Hampstead and Kilburn constituency. Early life Sheikh Rehana was born to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the first president of Bangladesh, and Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. She was placed under house arrest in Dhanmondi along with her family by the Pakistan Army during Bangladesh Liberation War. She was in West Germany with her elder sister Sheikh Hasina when her family was assassinated in a military coup by the Bangladesh Army.
