Ivy League Records is a record label based in Sydney, Australia. History Ivy League Records is an Australian-based record label established in 1997 by three ex-musician friends: Pete Lusty (John Reed Club) (RIP), Andy Cassell (Youth Group) and Andy Kelly (Glide), who also founded Winterman & Goldstein Management. Ivy League albums have won the prestigious Australian Music Prize (AMP Award) twice via The Mess Hall and Cloud Control. The label has achieved gold/platinum albums via The Rubens, Josh Pyke and Lanie Lane. Snob Scrilla
Sean Ray is an American-Australian rapper, producer and musician based in Sydney, Australia. Biography Sean Ray Mullins, known by his alias Snob Scrilla, was born in Clovis, California where he attended Buchanan High School. After moving to Australia and making a hometown of Katoomba, New South Wales, it was whilst living in Newcastle that Ray began making music. This was followed by a relocation to Sydney. His popularity amongst Australian Indie crowds is largely due to his debut single in 2008 titled "There You Go Again". Bad Dreems (stylised as Bad//Dreems) are an Australian rock band from Adelaide, South Australia. Alpine (band)
Alpine were an Australian indie pop band from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2009. History Alpine released their debut EP, ''Zurich'', in November 2010. Preceded by the "Hands" single in late 2011, their debut album, ''A Is for Alpine'', was released in Australia in 2012 and in the US in 2013. The album was featured on Triple J prior to its release, and debuted at No. 11 on the ARIA chart. The album's second single, "Gasoline", was released in July 2012. Youth Group is an Australian rock band based in Newtown, New South Wales. Built around the vocals of singer Toby Martin and production of Wayne Connolly, the sound of Youth Group is reminiscent of indie rock artists such as Teenage Fanclub, Pavement and Death Cab for Cutie. The Teskey Brothers
The Teskey Brothers are an Australian blues rock band from Melbourne, named after the two brothers who formed the group in 2008: Josh Teskey (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Sam Teskey (lead guitar). In 2019 they signed with Glassnote Records and Ivy League Records. They have released two albums, '' Half Mile Harvest'' (2017) and '' Run Home Slow'' (2019). The Mess Hall
The Mess Hall were a two-piece drums and guitar combo based in Sydney, Australia, specialising in "raw, edgy bluesy rock." The band consisted of Jed Kurzel (lead vocals/guitar) and Cec Condon (drums/backing vocals) for most of its tenure. The band was often praised for its live shows: "When plugged in and turned up," wrote ''The Sydney Morning Herald'', "the duo produce enough energy to power a house full of floodlights."
