Iverson Molinar
Iverson Latrell Molinar Jones (born December 3, 1999) is a Panamanian professional basketball player for the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Mississippi State Bulldogs men's basketball, Mississippi State Bulldogs. Early life and high school career Molinar grew up in Panama City, Panama. He moved to the United States at age 15 to play for Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, California. As a junior at Covenant Christian Ministries Academy in Marietta, Georgia, Molinar averaged 21.5 points, six rebounds and five assists per game. He played for Veritas National Prep School as a senior. Molinar also competed for Team Why Not, an Amateur Athletic Union program founded by NBA player Russell Westbrook. The Mississippi State Bulldogs men's basketball program represents Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, in men's NCAA Division I basketball. The Bulldogs play in the Southeastern Conference. On March 20, 2022, Mississippi State named former New Mexico State head coach Chris Jans as its 21st head basketball coach. History The Bulldogs have been to the NCAA Tournament eleven times, the first time in 1963 and the most recent being 2019. Mississippi State chose not to accept previous bids because the university viewed African-Americans as inferior and refused to play teams with African-American players.
