Ivan Vukomanović
Ivan Vukomanović ( sr-Cyrl, Иван Вукомановић; born 19 June 1977) is a Serbian professional football manager and former player who is the current head coach of Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters. Playing career Vukomanović played as a defender during his playing days. He was also used as a defensive midfielder. He started his professional career at Serbian club FK Sloboda Užice. Vukomanović later played for Obilić, where he won the 1997–98 First League of FR Yugoslavia title. Vukomanović then moved to the Ligue 1 side Bordeaux. With the French club, he won the 1998–99 French Division 1. Throughout his career, he played for several top tier clubs, which includes the Serbian side Red Star Belgrade, Bundesliga’s FC Köln, Belgian side Royal Antwerp F.C and Russian club FC Dynamo Moscow. Kerala Blasters Football Club (), commonly referred to as The Blasters, is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of football in India. The club was established in May 2014 during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. The club played their inaugural match on 13 October 2014, losing 1–0 to NorthEast United. The 1999–2000 First League of FR Yugoslavia was the eighth season of the FR Yugoslavia's top-level football league since its establishment. It was contested by 21 teams, and Red Star Belgrade won the championship. Incidents The season was marred by a tragic event on 30 October 1999, during the Partizan vs. Red Star tie (113th edition of the Večiti derbi) when seventeen-year-old Red Star fan Aleksandar "Aca" Radović from Opovo was killed by a signalling rocket fired from within the stadium. The 1997–98 First League of FR Yugoslavia was the sixth season of the FR Yugoslavia's top-level football league since its establishment. Overview The league was divided into 2 groups, A and B, consisting each of 10 clubs. Both groups were played in league system. By winter break all clubs in each group meet each other twice, home and away, with the bottom four classified from A group moving to the group B, and being replaced by the top four from the B group. At the end of the season because the two groups league format was being abandoned for the next season and replaced by a single league consisting of 16 clubs, more clubs were relegated, six, and only the two first classified from the Second League of FR Yugoslavia would be promoted.
