Ivan Tričkovski
Ivan Trichkovski ( mk, Иван Тричковски; born 18 April 1987) is a Macedonian professional footballer who plays for and captains AEK Larnaca in the Cypriot First Division. Club career Red Star Belgrade Trichkovski joined Red Star Belgrade in January 2008 for a fee of around €800,000 from FK Rabotnički. He actually faced his future team (APOEL) in the 2008–09 UEFA Cup while playing for Red Star, and ended up on the losing side in a dramatic 3–3 draw in Belgrade which saw APOEL progress on away goals with a late equalizer in the 116th minute. APOEL Trichkovski spent the 2009–10 season on loan at Enosis Neon Paralimni where he scored 8 goals in 29 appearances and caught the eye of a successful club in Cyprus, APOEL, who agreed in principle to a three-year deal with Trickovski in May 2010. Donbass Arena ( uk, Донба́с Аре́на ; is a stadium with a natural grass pitch in Donetsk, Ukraine, that opened on 29 August 2009. The facility is located in the center of the city, in the Lenin Comsomol park. With a capacity of 52,187 spectators, the stadium used to host FC Shakhtar Donetsk matches and also hosted some matches of Euro 2012. The final cost of construction for Donbass Arena was $400M. Football Club Shakhtar Donetsk ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Шахтар» Донецьк , short nickname "miners") is a Ukrainian professional football club from the city of Donetsk. In 2014, due to the War in Donbass, the club was forced to move to Lviv, and had played matches in Lviv (2014–2016) and in Kharkiv (2017–2020) whilst having its office headquarters and training facilities in Kyiv. The 2011–12 UEFA Champions League was the 57th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 20th season in its current Champions League format. As part of a trial that started in the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League, two extra officials – one behind each goal – were used in all matches of the competition from the play-off round. The final was held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. The 2010–11 Cypriot First Division was the 72nd season of the Cypriot top-level football league. It began on 27 August 2010 with the first matches of the first round and will end on 11 May 2011 with the last matches of the second round. The defending champions were Omonia. APOEL won the championship four matchweeks before the end of the season. Competition modus Fourteen teams participate in the competition. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship.
