Ivan Kozhokar (Ukrainian: Іван Кожокар; born 10 January 2000 in Chernivtsi) is a Ukrainian archer. Career He is silver medallist of the 2023 European Games and of the 2021 European Championships. He represented Ukraine at the 2019 Summer Universiade competing in both individual (where he lost in the round of 32 to the eventual silver medallist) and team event (where he competed together with Artem Ovchynnikov and they lost to the US team in the round of 16). 2021 Archery Final Olympic Qualification Tournament
The 2021 Archery Final Olympic Qualification Tournament was the final qualifying tournament for archers to qualify to the 2020 Summer Olympics at Tokyo, Japan. The tournament was held at the Stade Sébastien Charléty, Charlety Stadium in Paris, France from 18 to 21 June. Paris also hosted the 2021 Archery World Cup Stage 3 from 21 to 28 June after this tournament. The tournament only consisted of recurve events (no compound events) as used in the 2020 Summer Olympics- men and women's individual, and the men and women's team. The two highest National Olympic Committees (NOCs) in the men's individual together with the highest NOC in the women's individual earned a spot to the Olympics; the 3 top teams in both team events also earned a spot to the Olympics and also earned each NOC on that team a place in the individual events. The archery events at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo took place in Yumenoshima Park. Five events were planned with a mixed team event staged for the first time. Qualification There were 128 qualifying places available for archery at the 2020 Summer Olympics: 64 for men and 64 for women. The qualification standards were released by World Archery in March 2018. Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) is permitted to enter a maximum of six competitors, three per gender. NOCs that qualify teams for a particular gender are able to send a three-member team to the team event and also have each member compete in the individual event. There are 12 team spots for each gender, thus qualifying 36 individuals through team qualification. All other NOCs may earn a maximum of one quota place per gender for the individual events.
