Ivan Jeremić
Ivan Jeremić ( sr-cyr, Иван Јеремић; born 21 August 1961) is a Serbian professional basketball coach for Al Ahly Ly of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). He has coached several teams in Serbia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Russia, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, among others. He has coached the Libyan national basketball team in two different stints. Coaching career Jeremić coached Serbian teams Tašmajdan, Stari Grad, OKK Beograd and Hemofarm. Jeremić joined CSKA Moscow coaching staff in 2002 when Serbian coach Dušan Ivković was named a head coach. Furthermore, he was a coaching staff member of Russian coach Evgeniy Pashutin at CSKA Moscow, UNICS and Lokomotiv-Kuban. He had one-year stint in Libya as head coach of Al Shabab. In 2016, Jeremić was named a head coach of Al-Muharraq of the Bahraini Premier League. In 2017, he won Bahraini Cup. 2012–13 Eurocup Basketball was the 11th edition of Europe's second-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs, the EuroCup. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one level below the EuroLeague. The winner of this competition earned a place at the group stage of the next season's EuroLeague. In this edition, semifinals were played in home-and-away series, and the final in a single game. Eurocup Qualifying Rounds were deleted. The final game was played at Spiroudome in Charleroi, Belgium. Evgeniy Yuryevich Pashutin (russian: Евгений Юрьевич Пашутин; born February 6, 1969) is a Russian professional basketball coach and former player. He is the current head coach of Parma Basket of the VTB United League. Club playing career Pashutin played in six teams during his professional playing career, but he did not win any major club titles. His only title as a professional club player was the Russian Super League title in 2003, which he won with CSKA Moscow. The Basketball Africa League (BAL) is Africa's premier men's basketball league. The league consists of twelve teams, each qualified through their domestic competition, similar to the format of the UEFA Champions League. The league is a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA) with sponsorship from Nike, Inc., Nike, Air Jordan and Pepsi. Its 2021 BAL season, inaugural season started with the qualifying rounds in October 2019 and the regular season in May 2021. The competition replaces FIBA's Africa Basketball League as the continent's top-tier league.
