Abel Iturralde Province
Abel Iturralde is one of the twenty provinces of the Bolivian La Paz Department. It is situated in its northern part. Its name honors Abel Iturralde Palacios, a Bolivian politician. Madidi National Park is partially in this province. Location Abel Iturralde province is located between 11° 48' and 14° 35' South and between 66° 55' and 69° 05' West. It extends over 300 km from North to South, and 200 km from east to west. The province is situated on the northern edges of the Cordillera Central. It is bordered to the west by the Madre de Dios and Heath Rivers and to the east by the Río Beni. The province borders Pando Department in the north, Peru in the west, Franz Tamayo Province in the south, and Beni in the east. Edna Iturralde (born 1948) is an Ecuadorian author who has won multiple national and international awards. She is considered the most important figure in children and young adult's literature of her country and, with fifty-seven books published, some of them in Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Spain, this author has attained significant international recognition. Eduardo Iturralde González (born 20 February 1967 in Arrankudiaga) is a retired Spanish football referee. He frequently served as a referee for European matches in the Europa League and Champions League. Iturralde notably refereed the El Clásico on three occasions, in 1999, 2005 and most recently in November 2010, in which he was praised for his solid and free-flowing performance. Iturralde González was the referee of the Republic of Ireland's 2–1 win over Armenia in the last Euro 2012 qualifying match. Estadio Carlos Iturralde
The Estadio Carlos Iturralde is a multi-use stadium in the Mexico, Mexican city of Mérida, Yucatán. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches and is the home stadium of Venados F.C., Venados. The stadium holds 15,087 people. History The stadium received the name :es:Carlos Iturralde Rivero, Carlos Iturralde Rivero in honor of the only Yucatecan football player to have played in the Mexico national football team. The first goal scored in the history of the stadium was from the Yucatecan ''Alonso Diego Molina'', a former player of the school Modelo. Manuel Ignacio De Vivanco Iturralde
Manuel Ignacio de Vivanco Iturralde (15 June 1806 – 16 September 1873) was a Peruvian politician and military leader who served as the President of Peru from 1843 to 1844. He was born in Lima, Peru. He led part of the Peruvian forces in the campaign against the reunification of Peru-Bolivian Confederacy. During the second administration of Agustín Gamarra, he was appointed prefect of Arequipa. In 1843, he rebelled against Juan Francisco de Vidal, but was defeated and fled to Bolivia. He returned to Peru then and subsequently became president in 1843 under the title "Supreme Director of the Republic". In the name of president Juan Antonio Pezet he signed the Vivanco–Pareja Treaty on 27 January 1865, which was one cause of the Chincha Islands War. Pedro Iturralde
Pedro Iturralde Ochoa (13 July 1929 – 1 November 2020) was a Spanish saxophonist, saxophone teacher and composer. Biography Iturralde was born in Falces on 3 July 1929. He began his musical studies with his father and performed in his first professional engagements on saxophone at age eleven. He graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, where he studied clarinet, piano, and harmony. He went on to lead his own jazz quartet at the W. Jazz Club in Madrid, experimenting with the combined use of flamenco and jazz, and making recordings for the Blue Note label. In 1972 he undertook further study in harmony and arranging at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He taught saxophone at the Madrid Conservatory from 1978 until his retirement in 1994. He appeared in Spain and abroad as a soloist with the Spanish National Orchestra under the baton of Frühbeck de Burgos, Celibidache, Markevitch, and others.
