Massimo "Miki" Biasion (born 7 January 1958) is an Italian rally driver, two-time World Rally champion. Career Biasion was born in Bassano del Grappa, Veneto. Biasion came to prominence in the early 1980s, winning both the Italian and European Rally Championships in 1983, driving a Lancia 037. He began competing in 1979, in an Opel Kadett GT/E. He was later drafted in to play a key role for the works Lancia World Rally Championship team in the mid-1980s as the squad sought to regroup after previous star driver Henri Toivonen's fatal crash, and would go on to dominate early Group A rallying, taking the world championship in the years 1988 and 1989. At his peak, Biasion was notching victories in almost three quarters of all events he entered. Giandomenico Basso (born 15 September 1973, in Montebelluna) is an Italian rally driver. Rally career After competing in karting from 1981, Basso has been rallying since 1994. Basso has driven Fiats throughout his rallying career. He made his World Rally Championship debut on Rallye Sanremo in 1998, in a Fiat Seicento. In 2001 and 2002 he competed on WRC rounds in the Junior World Rally Championship in a Fiat Punto S1600, finishing fifth in 2001 and fourth in 2002. In 2006 Basso won the inaugural Intercontinental Rally Challenge and the European Rally Championship in a Fiat Grande Punto S2000 for Abarth. In 2007 he won the Italian Rally Championship. Anna Andreussi (born 17 April 1972) is an Italian rally co-driver best known for her partnership with her husband Paolo Andreucci. Renato Travaglia (born October 26, 1965) is an Italian rally driver. He is best known for his success in the Italian and European rally championships, having won both in 2002 driving a Peugeot 206 WRC and the latter in 2005 driving a Super 1600 Renault Clio. Overall in his career he won 12 National and International Rally Championships. He has been a regular competitor in the Rallye Sanremo during the nineties and early noughties, which was at the time a round of the World Rally Championship; his best result was a fifth-place finish in 2001. Andrea Aghini Lombardi (born 29 December 1963 in Livorno, Tuscany) is an Italian rally driver. He won the 1992 Rallye Sanremo and took four other podium finishes in the World Rally Championship from 1992 to 1995. In 1992, he also won the Race of Champions, after beating Carlos Sainz in the semi-final and Colin McRae in the final. Career Aghini began his rallying career on national events with a Peugeot 205 GTI in 1984. He debuted in the World Rally Championship driving a Renault 5 GT Turbo at his home event, the Rallye San Remo, in 1986. He retired from the rally after a turbo problem, but two years later, he won the Group N class of the event.
