"It Ain't Gotta Be Love" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Brett Eldredge. It was released on June 28, 2011 as his second single, but was never included on a studio album. Eldredge wrote the song with Wayd Battle and Ben Daniel. Sometime in 2015, the song was pulled from all music download sites, and is no longer available for download. Critical reception Billy Dukes of ''Taste of Country'' gave the song a three-star review, saying that "Ultimately, Eldredge succeeds at proving he’s a man of varying emotions, but ‘It Ain’t Gotta’ Be Love’ doesn’t resonate as well as ‘Raymond’ (or any other hit song) does. It’s easy to listen to, and even enjoyable, but it fails to stick between the folds of the brain like great songs do. Instead it sort of rattles around in the ear drum for awhile, before falling out in one’s sleep." Brett Ryan Eldredge (born March 23, 1986) is an American country music singer, songwriter and record producer, signed to Warner Music Group Nashville. Eldredge has had five No. 1 singles on the ''Billboard'' Country Airplay chart, three of which came from his debut studio album, ''Bring You Back'': " Don't Ya", " Beat of the Music", and " Mean to Me". Early life Eldredge was born on March 23, 1986, in Paris, Illinois, the son of Robin Beth (née Vonderlage) and Christopher "Chris" Eldredge. He has an older brother, Brice. He studied at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. His cousin, Terry Eldredge, is a former member of the Grascals. Byron Gallimore (born in Puryear, Tennessee) is an American record producer known for more than two decades of work in the field of country music. He has worked with artists Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland, Lee Ann Womack, and Jo Dee Messina. Faith Hill's 1999 album '' Breathe'' won him the Grammy Award for Best Country Album. Gallimore also produced the single "Breathe" from the album. Biography Gallimore was born in Puryear, Tennessee. He earned an engineering degree from Murray State University.
