''It's Whateva'' is the second studio album American hip hop group The Federation. It was released on September 4, 2007 via Warner Bros. Records and Reprise Records, and was entirely produced by Rick Rock. It also features guest appearances from Ca$his, E-40, Marty James, and Snoop Dogg among others. The album peaked at number 60 on the US ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 23 on the Top Rap Albums chart. The Federation (group)
The Federation is an American hip hop group from Fairfield, California. The group was formed in 2002, composed by producer Ricardo "Rick Rock" Thomas and consists of three rappers: Anthony "Goldie Gold" Caldwell, Marvin "Doonie Baby/Doon Koon" Selmon and Thomas "Stressmatic" Jackson. The group released their debut studio album in 2004 on Virgin Records and their sophomore album through Reprise Records in 2007, which is, to date, their recent effort. History Rick Rock and Doonie Baby’s friendship and collaborative work dates back to the early ‘90s in Alabama, where they recorded as two-thirds of the group Cosmic Slop Shop along with Big Lurch. Ramone Johnson (born October 10, 1982), better known by his stage name Cashis (stylized as Ca$his), is an American rapper who was born and raised in Chicago, but moved to Irvine, California. He was most notably featured on the Shady Records album '' Eminem Presents: The Re-Up'' with Eminem and the record label, and released ''The County Hound EP'' in 2007. ''The County Hound EP'' sold 6,700 copies in its first week and debuted on the US ''Billboard'' 200 at number 106. ''In Effect Mode'' is the debut album by Al B. Sure!. It was released on May 3, 1988 on Uptown Records with distribution handled by Warner Bros. Records. It was one of two albums by Sure! that was released under Uptown that were not issued under its parent company MCA Records. Background and recording Sure! got his initial start when he performed at the 1987 Sony Innovators Award, an annual talent showcase that awarded people who showed promising talent. "Nite and Day" is the debut single by Al B. Sure! from his debut album ''In Effect Mode'' (1988). WhoSampled is a website and app database of information about sampled music or sample-based music, cover songs and remixes. History Nadav Poraz founded the site in London, England in 2008, as a way to track musical samples and cover songs. Mobile apps were released in 2012 and 2014 for iPhone and Android, respectively. The website's database is user-generated and reviewed by moderators before the content goes live. As of 2022, the site's most sampled track is the Amen break from the Winstons. In 2015, the site added support for film and television clips.
