Issah Yakubu
Issah Yakubu (born 17 December 1992) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Ahed. Career Ghana and Libya Starting his senior career in 2010 at Liberty Professionals, Yakubu joined Asante Kotoko in 2012, before moving to Libyan side Al-Nasr the following year on a free transfer. In September 2014, Yakubu moved back to his native Ghana at BA Stars on loan, before ending the season at Inter Allies on another loan in 2015; he played 14 games and scored once in the Ghana Premier League for the side. Lebanon On 28 September 2015, Yakubu moved to Lebanon, joining Nabi Chit on a two-year contract, with whom he played 21 games and scored four in the league. Al Ahed Football Club ( ar, نادي العهد الرياضي, lit=The Covenant Sporting Club) is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. 2018–19 Lebanese FA Cup
The 2018–19 Lebanese FA Cup was the 47th edition of the national football cup competition of Lebanon. It started with the First Round on 12 October 2018 and concluded with the final on 25 May 2019. Defending champions Ahed beat Ansar in the final to win their second consecutive Lebanese FA Cup, their sixth in total. The winner qualified for the 2020 AFC Cup play-off round; however, as Ahed also won the Lebanese Premier League, the AFC Cup spot went to second-placed Ansar. The Lebanon Cup (), commonly known as the Lebanese FA Cup, is a Lebanese football annual cup competition. The first edition, held in 1937, was won by Nahda. The most successful club in the competition is Ansar with 15 titles, followed by Nejmeh with seven. Ansar have also contested the most finals with 20, followed by Nejmeh with 16. In the first FA Cup final, held on 26 June 1938, Nahda beat Hilmi-Sport 3–2 in the replay (after drawing 1–1 the first match). The 2018–19 Lebanese Premier League season began on 21 September 2018 and concluded on 21 April 2019. 2018–19 was the 58th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs in the country, established in 1934. The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
