Issa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Issa bin Zayed Al Nahyan ( ar, عيسى بن زايد آل نهيان) is the son of former United Arab Emirates President Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan; the half brother of the former President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and the half brother of President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Although a member of the royal family and apart from being a prominent real estate developer in the UAE, being the owner of Al Hekma Tower in Dubai, Issa bin Zayed holds no official or political position within the government of the United Arab Emirates. Al Nahyan
The House of Nahyan ( ar, آل نهيان, Āl Nohayān) are one of the six ruling families of the United Arab Emirates, and are based in the capital Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Al Nahyan is a branch of the House of Al Falahi (Āl Bū Falāḥ), a branch of the Bani Yas tribe, and are related to the House of Al Falasi from which the ruling family of Dubai, Al Maktoum, descends. The Bani Yas came to Abu Dhabi in the 18th century from Liwa Oasis. They have ruled Abu Dhabi since 1793, and previously ruled Liwa. Five of the rulers were overthrown and eight were killed in coups between 1793 and 1966; many were brothers. Nasser Bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan (died 2 June 2008) was an Emirati royal and a member of the Al Nahyan family. He was killed in a helicopter crash at age 41. Early life Sheikh Nasser was a son of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding president of the United Arab Emirates. His mother was Sheikha Amna bint Salah Al Badi, who is from the Bedouin branch of the Dhawahir tribe. He had one full-brother, Sheikh Isa. Career Sheikh Nasser was a security officer, working in the royal bodyguard's office. He was also the chairman of the Abu Dhabi planning and economy department. Personal life and death Nasser bin Zayed's son, Ahmed bin Nasser, attended Abu Dhabi Police College from which he graduated in 2010. Jim McGovern (American Politician)
James Patrick McGovern (born November 20, 1959) is a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing since 1997. He is the chair of the House Rules Committee and of the Congressional-Executive Commission on China as well as the co-chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission. Torture Victims Protection Act
The Torture Victim Protection Act of 1991 (TVPA; ) is a statute that allows for the filing of civil suits in the United States against individuals who, acting in an official capacity for any foreign nation, committed torture and/or extrajudicial killing.
