Isamot Kol
Isamot Kol is a fictional comic book superhero, an extraterrestrial from the planet Thanagar, and a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Green Lantern Corps. He first appeared in DC Comics' '' Green Lantern Corps: Recharge'' #1 (November 2005), and was created by writers Geoff Johns and Dave Gibbons, and artist Patrick Gleason. He was named after editor Peter Tomasi, in that Isamot is Tomasi spelled backwards. Fictional character history Kol is a Lizarkon (a humanoid lizard belonging to one of the many different species who inhabit Thanagar) and a veteran soldier of the Rann-Thanagar War. As member of the Imperial Thanagarian Army, Kol was scheduled to be executed for killing his commanding officer because his superior wanted to surrender to a squadron of Rannians. Indigo Tribe
The Indigo Tribe is a fictional organization that appears in DC Comics publications, primarily those of the ''Green Lantern'' series. In the DC Universe, it is one of the seven major groups known as the Corps of the emotional spectrum. The group was created by comic book writer Geoff Johns and comic book artist Ethan Van Sciver. It made its debut in the issue #25 of ''Green Lantern (comic book), Green Lantern'' (vol. 4) in December 2007. Background The Indigo Tribe is one of the nine Corps of the emotional spectrum within the DC Universe setting. The Black Lantern Corps is a fictional organization of corporeal revenants (resembling intelligent zombies or jiangshi) appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, related to the emotional spectrum. The group is composed of deceased fictional characters in zombie form that seek to eliminate all life from the DC Universe.
