Isaiah Stevens
Isaiah Stevens (born November 1, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Colorado State Rams of the Mountain West Conference (MWC). High school career Stevens attended Allen High School in Allen, Texas. As a junior, he led his team to the Class 6A state title. In his senior season, Stevens averaged 21 points and was named District 9-6A co-MVP. He competed for Team Faith on the Amateur Athletic Union circuit alongside five-star recruit Greg Brown. Stevens committed to playing college basketball for Colorado State over offers from SMU and Mississippi State, among others. College career On December 22, 2019, Stevens recorded a freshman season-high 26 points, 12 assists and five steals in a 111–104 win over Tulsa in triple overtime. Colorado State Rams Men's Basketball
The Colorado State Rams men's basketball team represents Colorado State University, located in Fort Collins, in the U.S. state of Colorado, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play their home games at the Moby Arena and are members of the Mountain West Conference. They are led by head coach Niko Medved. History The men's basketball team at Colorado State University—then called Colorado Agricultural College—began competing in the 1901–02 season. The school became a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in the 1910–11 season, and followed most of the larger schools in that conference into the Mountain States Conference in the 1938–39 season and stayed in the conference until 1961–62. The South Alabama Jaguars men's basketball program has competed in the Sun Belt Conference since 1978 when the league was formed. Since 1968, the Jaguars have compiled an overall record of 694–507 (.580). Ronnie Arrow returned as head coach in 2007, succeeding John Pelphrey after the 2006–07 season. In his three seasons succeeding Pelphrey, Coach Arrow was 63–34 (64.9%), and is 177–127 (58.2%) all time at South Alabama. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 5, 2019. The first tournament was the 2K Sports Classic and the season concluded prematurely on March 12, 2020. The 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was scheduled to end in Atlanta on April 6, 2020, but was ultimately canceled. All other postseason tournaments were canceled as well. Practices officially began in late September. On March 12, 2020, the NCAA announced that all remaining winter and spring championships for both men's and women's sports were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
