Isaiah Irving
Isaiah Emmanuel Irving (born June 9, 1994) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at San Jose State. Early years and college career Born in Oakland, California, Irving was raised in Vacaville, California and Houston, Texas. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School in Houston in 2013. Irving appeared in 47 games with 37 starts for the Spartans, recording 140 tackles, 23 tackles-for-loss, 11 sacks and 1 forced fumble. He was named honorable mention All- Mountain West Conference as a senior and led the team in sacks. Professional career Chicago Bears Irving signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2017. He was waived on September 2, 2017 and was signed to the Bears' practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on October 9, 2017. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. Nathan Michael Peterman (born May 4, 1994) is an American football quarterback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Pittsburgh following a stint with Tennessee and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Peterman struggled early in the NFL, throwing five interceptions during the first half of his starting debut and posting a 0.0 passer rating in the 2018 season opener. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured.
