Isabella Isaksen
Isabella Isaksen (born November 20, 1993) is a modern pentathlete from the United States who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Isaksen is the younger sister of Margaux Isaksen, who competed in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and competed in 2016. Isabella trains with Margaux at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Isaksen qualified for the 2016 Olympics after the re-allocation of unused quota places on June 16, 2016. Isaksen is married to the Egyptian-born American Olympic modern pentathlete Amro El Geziry. Early life Isaksen was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She has one sibling, older sister Margaux Isaksen, who made the United States Olympic Team in modern pentathlon in 2008, 2012, and 2016. Isaksen's father was the captain of a cruise ship. Modern Pentathlon
The modern pentathlon is an Olympic sport consisting of fencing (one-touch épée), freestyle swimming, equestrian show jumping, pistol shooting, and cross country running. The event is inspired by the traditional pentathlon held during the ancient Olympics. The modern pentathlon was first held in 1912, and its rules have changed several times over the years. The latest structure, as of the 2020 Olympics, consists of three separate events for fencing, swimming, and equestrian, which determine each athlete's starting time in the final event. The last event, called the laser-run, alternates four legs of laser pistol shooting followed by an 800 m run (for 3200 m in total). Colorectal cancer (CRC), also known as bowel cancer, colon cancer, or rectal cancer, is the development of cancer from the colon or rectum (parts of the large intestine). Signs and symptoms may include blood in the stool, a change in bowel movements, weight loss, and fatigue. Most colorectal cancers are due to old age and lifestyle factors, with only a small number of cases due to underlying genetic disorders.
