Irving Davies
Irving Davies (26 April 1926 – 14 October 2002) was a Welsh dancer and choreography (dance), choreographer. Born in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales,Brian McFarlane, ed., ''The Encyclopedia of British Film'' (4th edition, 2016), p. 1905 Davies's screen work included ''Value for Money'' (1955), ''Kiss Me Kate'' (1964) and ''Aladdin'' (1960). An early television role was in ''The Golden Year (BBC TV play), The Golden Year'' (1951), for which he was also choreographer, jointly with Eunice Crowther. He had a role in the film ''Invitation to the Dance (film), Invitation to the Dance'' (1956), in which he danced with Diana Adams. In 1960 a London show called ''The Dancing Heiress'' at the Lyric Theatre (Hammersmith), Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, gave Davies one of his few leading roles, opposite Jill Ireland, duetting with Lally Bowers in the most memorable number, 'Life is Peaches and Cream'. Choreography is the art or practice of designing sequences of movements of physical bodies (or their depictions) in which motion or form or both are specified. Victor Spinetti
Vittorio Giorgio Andre "Victor" Spinetti (2 September 1929 – 19 June 2012) was a Welsh actor, author, poet, and raconteur. He appeared in dozens of films and stage plays throughout his 50-year career, including the three 1960s Beatles films '' A Hard Day's Night'', ''Help!'', and ''Magical Mystery Tour''. Born in Cwm, Spinetti was educated at Monmouth School and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, of which he became a Fellow. After various menial jobs, Spinetti pursued a stage career and was closely associated with Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop. Anita Madeleine Harris (born 3 June 1942) is an English actress, singer and entertainer. Harris sang with the Cliff Adams Singers for three years from 1961 and had a number of chart hits during the 1960s. ''The Play What I Wrote'' is a comedy play written by Hamish McColl, Sean Foley and Eddie Braben, starring Foley and McColl (the double act The Right Size, playing characters named "Sean" and "Hamish"), with Toby Jones, directed by Kenneth Branagh and produced in its original production by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers. ''Jean Seberg'' is a musical biography with a book by Julian Barry, lyrics by Christopher Adler, and music by Marvin Hamlisch. It is based on the life of the late American actress and premiered at the National Theatre in London on 1 December 1983. Background Adler had almost completed a full draft with his current composer, Nathan Hurwitz, when his agent contacted him, asking about his interest in working with Hamlisch. Leaving Hurwitz for Hamlisch, several small sections of Hurwitz's music ultimately remained in the production at the National Theatre, uncredited.
