Irrara County
Irrara County is one of the 141 Cadastral divisions of New South Wales. It is located south of the border with Queensland, east of the Paroo River, and west of the Warrego River. Irrara County has now towns of any size. The only settlements are the localities of Yantabulla, New South Wales and Fords Bridge, New South Wales. Yantabulla has been noted as being the future location of the rare double-sighting of solar eclipses within short intervals of one another. Barringun, Queensland at the north eastern corner of the County, Hungerford, Queensland at the north west corner of the county Enngonia, New South Wales and Waanaring, New South Wales at the south west corner of the county all lie just outside the county. Irrara is believed to be derived from a local Aboriginal word. Conroy Parish (Irrara County), New South Wales
Conroy is an Irish surname. Overview Conroy is an Irish surname of multiple origins. In some cases it is the form used by descendants of the Ó Maolchonaire bardic family of what is now East Galway and South Roscommon. In west County Galway, most bearers of the name are probably descended from the Mac Conraoi family of Delbhna Tír Dhá Locha. Berawinnia Parish (Irrara County), New South Wales is a remote civil parish, of Irrara County, a cadasteral division of New South Wales. Berawinnia Parish is one of the few parts of Irrara County that is unincorporated. Geography The topography of the area is flat and arid with a Köppen climate classification of BSh (Hot semi-arid). ''(directFinal Revised Paper'' Berawinna is on the Paroo River and is on the traditional lands of the Badjiri people. The economy in the parish is based on broad acre agriculture, mainly cattle, and sheep. The Queensland border runs along the northern boundary of the parish (and the County of Irrara) and the parish has no towns though Hungerford, Queensland is just over the border from the parish. A village of Berwinnia was planned and layout as a suburb of Hungerford, but the village never developed. Hungerford remains the nearest settlement. Bantry Parish (Irrara County), New South Wales
Bantry () is a town in the civil parish of Kilmocomoge in the barony of Bantry on the southwest coast of County Cork, Ireland. It lies in West Cork at the head of Bantry Bay, a deep-water gulf extending for to the west. The Beara Peninsula is to the northwest, with Sheep's Head peninsula to the southwest. The focus of the town is a large square, formed partly by infilling of the shallow inner harbour. In former times, this accommodated regular cattle fairs; after modernising as an urban plaza, it now features a weekly market and occasional public functions. Two piers protect the harbour. Bantry is in the Dáil constituency of Cork South-West.
