Fourth Grade
Fourth grade (also called grade four, equivalent to Year 5 in England and Wales, and Year 4 in Australia) is a year of Elementary education in some countries. In North America, the fourth grade is the fifth school year of elementary school. Students are usually 9 or 10 years old. It can be considered a part of elementary school, traditionally providing instruction for young pupils in grades 3, 4 or 5. This can vary in different school districts; in some, fourth grade is the first or second year of intermediate school. In others, it may be the last year of elementary. Argentina's equivalent In Argentina, the minimum age required for the fourth grade is between 9 and 10 years old. In this situation, the children who are in the middle of primary school perform the "confirmation of loyalty to the homeland". This is an act in which a child will have to take an oath to defend Argentina for the rest of his or her life. Sometimes children take a trip to Rosario, where they raise the Na ...

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is a preschool educational approach based on playing, singing, practical activities such as drawing, and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school. Such institutions were originally made in the late 18th century in Germany, Bavaria and Alsace to serve children whose parents both worked outside home. The term was coined by German pedagogue Friedrich Fröbel, whose approach globally influenced early-years education. Today, the term is used in many countries to describe a variety of educational institutions and learning spaces for children ranging from 2 to 6 years of age, based on a variety of teaching methods. History Early years and development In 1779, Johann Friedrich Oberlin and Louise Scheppler founded in Strasbourg an early establishment for caring for and educating preschool children whose parents were absent during the day. At about the same time, in 1780, similar infant establishments were created in Bavaria. In 1802, Princess P ...
