Iris Wang (born September 2, 1994) is an American badminton player who competed at the Badminton at the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Personal life Wang was born in Pasadena, California, on September 2, 1994, to China, Chinese parents. Her older sister, Rena Wang, is also an international badminton player. Career Wang won a bronze medal in the women's doubles at the 2010 Pan Am Badminton Championships playing alongside her sister Rena. In 2011, she was eliminated at the quarterfinal stage of the Badminton at the 2011 Pan American Games – Women's singles, women's singles at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, after losing to Canadian player Michelle Li. Rachel Honderich
Rachel Honderich (born 21 April 1996) is a Canadian badminton player from Toronto, Ontario. She has been one of the top ranked women's individual and doubles player on the continent and a contender in major international competitions. She is a vice-national champion in women's singles and has won several international titles since 2010. Career Honderich won her first senior international title at the 2014 Czech International tournament in the women's doubles partnered with Michelle Li. Honderich clinched the silver and bronze medals at the 2015 Pan American Games in the women's singles and doubles respectively. Luana Tamara de Oliveira Vicente (born 30 January 1994) is a Brazilian badminton player who won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. Personal life Vicente was born on 30 January 1994 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her younger sister Lohaynny Vicente is also an international badminton player. When Luana was six, her father, a drug dealer, was killed in a shootout with police. Following her father's death her mother moved the family from the west of the city to Chacrinha, a favela in the north of Rio. She now lives with her sister in Campinas, São Paulo, in a house funded by the Brazilian Badminton Federation. Michelle Li
Michelle Li (born November 3, 1991) is a Canadian badminton player from Markham, Ontario. Li is the 2014 Commonwealth Games champion and the first Canadian to win an individual gold medal in women's singles badminton at the Commonwealth Games. The 2011 Pan American Games, officially the XVI Pan American Games, was an international multi-sport event that was held from October 14–30, 2011, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
