Iranian Academy Of Arts
The Iranian Academy of Arts (IAA) ( fa, فرهنگستان هنر ایران; formally Academy of Arts of the Islamic Republic of Iran) was established in March 2000. It is one of the four academies of the Islamic Republic of Iran; the other three are: the Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Iranian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Persian Language and Literature. The IIA is an authorised entity affiliated with presidential administration. Presidency Mir Hossein Mousavi served as president for 11 years until he was removed in 2009. Iranian Academy Of Medical Sciences
The Academy of Medical Sciences of Iran ( fa, فرهنگستان علوم پزشکی جمهوری اسلامی ایران) was formally inaugurated in the winter of 1990. It had received its mandate from the High Council of Cultural Revolution and Legislature of the Islamic Republic of Iran two years earlier and its existence had been foreseen in the 1986 Charter of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. It is one of the four academies of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The other three are: Academy of Sciences of Iran, Iranian Academy of the Arts and Academy of Persian Language and Literature. Supreme Council Of Cultural Revolution
The Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution (SCCR; fa, شورای عالی انقلاب فرهنگی, shoraye a'ali enqelabe farhangi) is a conservative-dominated body based in Qom, set up at the time of Ayatollah Khomeini. Its decisions can only be overruled by Iran's Supreme Leader. Most of its members were appointed by Ali Khamenei, Khomeini's successor. Education In Iran
Education in Iran is centralized and divided into K-12 education plus higher education.
