The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) ( fa, فدراسیون فوتبال جمهوری اسلامی ایران, Federâsion-è Futbâl-è Jomhuri-ye Eslâmi-ye Irân) is the governing body of association football in Iran. Formed in 1920, it is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the amateur and professional game in the country. The Iran International Tournament ( fa, تورنمنت بین المللی ایران) or simply known as Iran Cup ( fa, جام ایران) was a friendly football tournament held in Tehran, Iran between July 11 and July 20, 1975. This was the second edition, the first edition was 1974 Iran International Tournament. António Simões
António Simões da Costa (; born 14 December 1943), known as Simões, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a left winger. He spent 14 professional seasons with Benfica, playing 449 official games and scoring 72 goals. In the late 1970s, early 1980s, he represented several teams in the United States, and subsequently worked as a manager in both continents. A diminutive winger known for his high technicality, creativity and crossing ability, Simões still holds the record of youngest player (18 years and 139 days old) to play and win a final, the European Cup final won by Benfica against Real Madrid on 2 May 1962. Markar Aghajanyan ( hy, Մարգար Աղաջանեան, fa, مارکار آقاجانیان; born March 4, 1965) is a retired Iranian football player and manager of Armenian descent. Career Aghajanyan spent most of his career playing for Ararat Tehran FC. He later went on to join a series of Tehran-based teams, most notably PAS, where he won the Iran Pro League division in his first season. With the departure of Human Afazeli, Aghajanyan was appointed the manager of Azadegan League side Damash Lorestan. The team chose not to renew his contract for the 2010–11 season. Parviz Mazloomi ( fa, پرویز مظلومی, born 16 September 1954) is a former Iranian footballer who is the team manager of the Esteghlal. He played for Esteghlal and Tractor Sazi in the 1970s and 1980s. He also managed many clubs such as Saba Battery, Sanat Naft, Aboumoslem, Mes Kerman and Esteghlal. He was also head coach of Iran B team in 2007 West Asian Football Federation Championship which won the title. Early life Parviz Mazloumi was born on 16 September 1954 in Abadan, Iran. He had an older brother, Gholam Hossein Mazloumi who also was a well-known football player and played for both Esteghlal and Iran national football team. Gholam Hossein was also Esteghlal's head coach between 1988 and 1989. Bijan Zolfagharnasab ( fa, بیژن ذوالفقارنسب, born June 7, 1949 in Sanandaj) is a retired Iranian football player and currently a football manager. He started his professional career with Pas Tehran, before changing to Persepolis F.C. in 1974. There he could win the Iranian championship in 1976 and reach runner-up position in 1975, in 1977 and in 1978. After the Iranian Revolution he remained playing for Persepolis winning the Iranian nationwide tournament Espandi Cup in 1979 before retiring from football and starting his studies in Physical Education in Brussels. He was a starter at the 1976 Asian Cup in Tehran, which Iran won. He also participated in the football tournament at the 1976 Olympics, where Iran progressed to the quarter-finals. Heshmatollah Mohajerani ( fa, , born 13 December 1939) is a retired Iranian association football midfielder and manager. Early life and playing career Mohajerani was born to Asadoolah Mohajerani and Leila Nassiri in a family of six siblings. After years, his family moved to Tehran and his older brothers began playing football in Taj's youth teams.
