Iraj Etesam
Iraj Etesam ( fa, ایرج اعتصام; 21 January 1931 – 19 December 2022) was an Iranian contemporary architect, educator, and author. He was the designer and architect of the Mellat Park of Tehran and the Cyrus Park, as well as a professor of architecture in Iran. Biography Early life and education Iraj Etesam, was born on 21 January 1931 in Gorgan, Iran. He held a PhD in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1960. Career Etesam was the United Nations Regional Planning Master from 1971, and had been a member of the Official Judicial Courts of Experts from 1973. Etesam was the founder and managing director of Omco Consulting Engineers, Tehran University of Architecture and Urban Planning, senior consultant and researcher for OMCO Consulting Engineers and Ducatiids International Institute. Gorgan, Iran
Gorgan ( fa, گرگان ; also Romanization of Persian, romanized as ''Gorgān'', ''Gurgān'', and ''Gurgan''), formerly Esterabad ( ; also romanized as ''Astarābād'', ''Asterabad'', and ''Esterābād''), is the capital city of Golestan Province, Iran. It lies approximately to the north east of Tehran, some away from the Caspian Sea. In the 2006 census; its population was 269,226, in 73,702 families. Zanjan, Iran
Zanjan (Persian: زنجان, ; Azerbaijani: زنگان) is a city in northwest Iran, serving as the capital of Zanjan Province. Kazeroon
Kazeroon ( fa, کازرون, also Romanized as Kāzerūn, Kāzeroūn, and Kazeroon; also known as Kasrun) is a city and capital of Kazeroon County, Fars Province, Iran. In 2016, as the fifth big city in the province, its population was 96,683. Its agricultural products include date palms, citrus orchards, wheat, tobacco, rice, cotton, and vines. The nearby ruins of the ancient city of Bishapur N., include bas-relief depictions from the Sasanid era (ca. 224–651). A statue of Shapur I (AD 241–272) can be found in a large cave at the site. Mahallat ( fa, محلات, also Romanized as Maḩallāt; also known as Mahallāt Bāla and Maḩallāt-e Bālā) is the capital of Mahallat County, Markazi Province, Iran. Shah Cheragh
Shāh Chérāgh ( fa, شاه چراغ) or Shahcheragh Shrine is the tomb of Ahmed bin Musa ( Imam Reza's brother) in the center of Shiraz. It is the third most important shrine in Shia Islam in Iran, after the Imam Reza shrine and Fatima Masumeh Shrine. Ahmed bin Musa traveled to Khorasan on the way to join his brother, but he was killed by Al-Ma'mun Abbasid Caliphate in Shiraz. ''Shāh-é-Chérāgh'' is a Persian term for "King of the Light".
