Irad Young
Irad Young ( he, עירד יאנג; born 25 March 1971) is a retired Israeli-American professional football (soccer) player. Playing for George Mason University he set the school's career assist record. After college he played for Hapoel Haifa, the Washington Warthogs, and the Baton Rouge Bombers. Playing career Irad Young began his playing career as a youth in New York. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. ''Parade'' was an American nationwide Sunday newspaper magazine, distributed in more than 700 newspapers in the United States until 2022. The most widely read magazine in the U.S., ''Parade'' had a circulation of 32 million and a readership of 54.1 million. Anne Krueger has been the magazine's editor since 2015. Oakton High School is a public high school in unincorporated Fairfax County, Virginia, in proximity to the town of Vienna, in the United States. It is part of Fairfax County Public Schools. Oakton operates on a block schedule five days a week, alternating between "Burgundy" and "Gold" days. It is currently led by Principal Jamie Lane and several assistant principals. The Eastern Indoor Soccer League (EISL) was an American professional regional indoor soccer league. The league featured teams from the Southeastern United States. The regular seasons were played from May to August with post-season play in September. The Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) was a professional indoor soccer league that played from 1993 to 1997. History In the summer of 1989 Dr Jerry Buss, the owner of the Los Angeles Lakers and California Sports, told his executive Vice President, Ron Weinstein, he was closing the doors on the Los Angeles Lazers of the Major Indoor Soccer League, MISL, and that if he ever wanted to "create a professional indoor soccer league that played in the summer months, out from under the shadow of the NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAA Football and NCAA Basketball", he would support the endeavor. The 1993–94 Liga Leumit season began on 28 August 1993 and ended on 4 June 1994, with Maccabi Haifa winning their fifth title. That season saw one of the best teams in history of Israeli football, according to many pundits, when Maccabi Haifa won the league without suffering a single loss, breaking many Israeli records in the process. In that season (as well as in the previous season) it was decided that three teams will be promoted from Liga Artzit and one relegated from Liga Leumit. Reuven "Roby" Young ( he, רובי יאנג; born 15 May 1942) is a former Israeli international footballer, and captain of Hapoel Haifa. Biography Born on 15 May 1942 in Haifa, Israel, Roby Young was raised (alongside his older brother) by his mother in a small one-bedroom apartment in a quaint beach-side neighborhood called Bat Galim (translated: House of Waves).
