Ion Buga
__NOTOC__ Ion Buga (born 16 February 1935) is a Moldovan politician and history professor. Biography He served as member of the Parliament of Moldova in 1990s and president of the party New Historical Option (then called Romanian National Party) after 2000. He is a leader of the Democratic Forum of Romanians in Moldova. Ion Buga is one of the 278 signatories to the Moldovan Declaration of Independence, Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Moldova. Moldovan Parliament
The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is the supreme representative body of the Republic of Moldova, the only state legislative authority, being a unicameral structure composed of 101 elected MPs on lists, for a period of 4 years. Parliament is elected by universal vote, equal directly, secret and freely expressed. The President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is elected by the Parliament, with a minimum of 52 votes. The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova, on a proposal of the Central Electoral Commission, decides to validate or invalidate the mandate of the Member of Parliament. The mandate is invalid in the case of violation of electoral legislation. The Parliament is meeting at the convening of the Speaker of the Parliament within 30 days of the elections. New Historical Option ( ro, Noua Opțiune Istorică, NOI), formerly known as the Romanian National Party ( ro, Partidul Național Român, PNR), is a political party in Moldova. History New Historical Option, then known as the Romanian National Party, participated in the parliamentary elections of 1994 and 2001. At the 2003 local election and 2005 parliamentary election, it did not participate. However, it participated, now under its current name since 2013, at the 2021 parliamentary election. Popular Front Of Moldova
The Popular Front of Moldova ( ro, Frontul Popular din Moldova) was a political movement in the Moldavian SSR, one of the 15 union republics of the former Soviet Union, and in the newly independent Moldova, Republic of Moldova. Formally, the Front existed from 1989 to 1992. It was the successor to the ''Democratic Movement of Moldova'' (''Mișcarea Democratică din Moldova''; 1988–89), and was succeeded by the ''Christian Democratic Popular Front'' (''Frontul Popular Creștin Democrat''; 1992–99) and ultimately by the Christian-Democratic People's Party (Moldova), Christian-Democratic People's Party (''Partidul Popular Creștin Democrat''; since 1999). The Popular Front was well organized nationally, with its strongest support in the capital and in areas of the country most heavily populated by Moldavians. Once the organization was in power, however, internal disputes led to a sharp fall in popular support, and it fragmented into several competing factions by early 1993.

The Order of the Republic ( ro, Ordinul Republicii) is Moldova's highest order. It is awarded by the President of Moldova for exceptional merits in all fields which benefit Moldova and humanity as a whole.
