Ferdinando Baldi (19 May 1917 – 12 September 2007) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Biography Baldi was born in Cava de' Tirreni, Salerno, on 19 May 1917. Livio Lorenzon (6 May 1923 – 23 December 1971) was an Italian actor who was mainly active during the 1950s and 1960s. Biography He played minor roles in some memorable commedia all'Italiana movies directed by the likes of Dino Risi and Mario Monicelli. On the international stage Lorenzon is best known for his small roles in Spaghetti Western films in the 1960s, appearing in ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'', and ''The Secret Seven'' in 1966. The musicarello (; plural: musicarelli) is a film subgenre which emerged in Italy and which is characterised by the presence in main roles of young singers, already famous among their peers, and their new record album. In the films there are almost always tender and chaste love stories accompanied by the desire to have fun and dance without thoughts. Rosa Pisano (15 October 1919 – 24 December 1975) was an Italian stage, film and television actress. Life and career Pisano was born in Naples, into a family of dialect theatre actors. She debuted on stage as a child actress in her family company, and later entered the stage company of Eduardo and Peppino De Filippo. Tiberio Murgia (5 February 1929 – 20 August 2010) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 100 films between 1958 and 2009. Biography Born into a humble family, Murgia began working as a laborer from an early age. At the age of twenty he was already a peddler for l'Unità, the newspaper of the Italian Communist Party. The managing directors of the local branch of the party recognized particular political skills in him and send him to the National School for the party leaders in Frattocchie in the province of Rome. After his return, six months later, he became the Secretary of the Young Communist League and married. Enrico Montesano (born 7 June 1945) is an Italian actor and showman. Riccardo Del Turco (born September 7, 1939) is an Italian singer and songwriter, born in Fiesole. His song '' Luglio'' topped the Italian Hit Parade Singles Chart for two weeks in July 1968, selling over 500,000 copies. ''Luglio''s tune was marketed across Europe and was released in the UK as '' I'm Gonna Try'' by The Tremeloes, but the song had a lukewarm response. The tune was then offered to the Herman's Hermits, who used it for their song, " Something's Happening". The song reached the sixth spot on the UK chart.
