''Introduction to Destruction'' is Sum 41's first DVD. It was released in 2001. Deryck Whibley
Deryck Jason Whibley (born 21 March 1980), nicknamed Bizzy D, is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and record producer, best known for his work as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, main songwriter, producer, founder and only constant member of the rock band Sum 41. Recording career Sum 41 Whibley formed Sum 41 with drummer Steve Jocz, bassist Richard Roy and vocalist Jon Marshall. They were originally called Kaspir, and were a NOFX cover band. "Makes No Difference" is the debut single by Canadian rock band Sum 41. It was released in June 2000 as the lead single from the band's extended play ''Half Hour of Power''. It was released in April 2002 as a single for the soundtrack to the film '' Spider-Man''. Background This is a reworked version of "Dave's Possessed Hair/ What We're all About" from the band's first EP, ''Half Hour of Power''. Part of the first verse is rapped in an acappella version in the beginning of the "Fat Lip" music video. History According to Ben Cook of Fucked Up, No Warning and Young Guv, "In Too Deep" was originally a reggae song, to be released by writer Greig Nori's band Treble Charger and feature rapper Snow in the verses. Singer Deryck Whibley told Kerrang that one night when he was 18, he and his friend, guitarist Dave Baksh, were going to drive to downtown Toronto to hang out. Baksh was very late in picking Whibley up, and Whibley started playing around with his guitar while sitting by the window and waiting.
