Plot summary ''Into the Dragon's Lair'' takes place in the Forgotten Realms setting, and takes place after the novels ''The High Road'' and ''The Death of a Dragon'' by Troy Denning. The nation of Cormyr tries to rebuild after the death of King Azoun IV, and seeks the treasure hoard of a dragon to fund these efforts and keep the kingdom from falling into chaos. The player characters must find this treasure before all the other seekers. Steve Miller is a game designer and editor who has worked on a number of products for the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' fantasy role-playing game from Wizards of the Coast, and other role-playing games. Early life and education Steve Miller wanted to be a writer from an early age: "Actually, when I was in first grade, I wanted to be a sheriff's deputy... Then I wrote a little book in first grade called 'The Man Who Watches' about a sheriff's deputy, and I won some sort of prize for it. From then on, I wanted to be a writer." Sean K Reynolds
Sean K. Reynolds is an American professional game designer, who has worked on and co-written a number of ''Dungeons & Dragons'' supplements for Wizards of the Coast, as well as material for other companies. Early life and inspiration Sean Reynolds was born in Chula Vista, California, and grew up there. He was introduced to the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' game (with the red '' Basic Set'' and the blue '' Expert Set'') in 1980 by his cousin, and soon began playing the ''AD&D'' game. TSR and Wizards of the Coast Reynolds began working for Time Warner Interactive in 1994, to develop their America Online and websites. Troy Denning
Troy Denning is an American fantasy and science fiction author and game designer who has written more than two dozen novels. Background Denning grew up in the mountain town of Idaho Springs, Colorado. An avid reader of science fiction and fantasy, he began writing himself at the age of fourteen in 80-page spiral-bound notebooks, and began to collect the usual quantity of rejection slips. Around his eighteenth birthday, he received a rejection slip from editor Ben Bova, but one with a signature and a handwritten note thanking him for the submission. Heartened, Denning continued to write as he attended Beloit College, where he also played on their Division III football team. Paul Bonner
Paul Bonner is a fantasy artist who has been producing artwork for major fantasy gaming companies and others for over 20 years. Education Paul Bonner spent four years at Harrow on an illustration course. Career Paul Bonner illustrated the covers of the '' World of Lone Wolf'' series of gamebooks, including Grey Star the Wizard, The Forbidden City, Beyond the Nightmare Gate, and War of the Wizards.
