''Into a Secret Land'' is the third studio album by German singer Sandra, released on 24 October 1988 by Virgin Records. The album was commercially successful and spawned the singles " Heaven Can Wait", "Secret Land", " We'll Be Together" and "Around My Heart". Background and release The album was recorded at Sandra and Michael Cretu's home studio in Ibiza, Spain, where the couple had recently relocated and married in January 1988. It was the only Sandra album with every song co-written by Hubert Kemmler, and her last to feature his trademark backing vocals, until '' Stay in Touch'' (2012). ''Into a Secret Land'' reached the top 10 in Switzerland and Finland, and the top 20 in Germany, Austria and Norway. ''Stay in Touch'' is the tenth studio album by German singer Sandra (singer), Sandra, released on 26 October 2012 by Virgin Records. Background The album was produced by a German DJ duo Blank & Jones and most of the songs were written or co-written by Jens Gad. The material incorporated 1980s style into songs, reproducing the sound pattern of Sandra's early albums, with the track "Kings & Queens" sampling her 1985 song "(I'll Never Be) Maria Magdalena". It was also the first album since 1988's ''Into a Secret Land'' to feature Hubert Kemmler as a songwriter and background vocalist. "Maybe Tonight" was released as the first single in May 2012 and charted at number 77 in Germany. The second and final single was "Infinite Kiss", accompanied by a music video filmed largely at a concert in Warsaw, Poland in September 2012. The European Top 100 Albums chart was the European adaptation of the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. It ran from March 1984 until December 2010. Also commonly referred to as Eurochart Top 100 Albums, the chart showcased the sales of an act in 19 European countries based on IFPI data. The European Top 100 combined album sales (both retail and digital) of new and older albums. The methodology was different from the US ''Billboard'' 200, where albums would only be allowed to chart if they weren't 18 months old. If an album older than 18 months had enough sales to enter the 200 chart after having already dropped out of the 100th position, it would chart on The ''U.S. Billboard'' Catalog Albums. Frank Peterson
Frank Peterson (born 29 December 1963) is a German music producer known for his work with Enigma and artists such as Sarah Brightman, Ofra Haza, Gregorian, Princessa, and Andrea Bocelli on his first international album, ''Romanza''. Peterson was born in Hamburg. As a child, he taught himself to play the piano and keyboard, going on to work in a music store. It was here that he met Michael Cretu and became lead keyboardist for Sandra, appearing prominently on her hit single "Maria Magdalena". He was a member of Sandra's band for a few more years, then moved with the Cretus to Ibiza. While there, he became involved with Cretu's new project, Enigma, under the pseudonym of ''F. Gregorian''.
