"Into You Like a Train" is the sixth episode of the second season of the American television medical drama '' Grey's Anatomy'', and the show's fifteenth episode overall. The episode, which would have originally served as the season two premiere, was written by Krista Vernoff and directed by Jeff Melman. The episode was originally broadcast on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) in the United States on October 30, 2005. Vernoff received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. The episode's title refers to a song by The Psychedelic Furs from their ''Talk Talk Talk'' album. The track was also covered by the band Jawbreaker as bonus track for their ''Dear You'' album 2004 reissue. Grey's Anatomy
''Grey's Anatomy'' is an American medical drama television series that premiered on March 27, 2005, on ABC as a mid-season replacement. The series focuses on the lives of surgical interns, residents, and attendings as they develop into seasoned doctors while balancing personal and professional relationships. The title is an allusion to '' Gray's Anatomy'', a classic human anatomy textbook first published in 1858 in London and written by Henry Gray. Shonda Rhimes developed the pilot and continued to write for the series until 2015. Krista Vernoff, who previously worked with Rhimes, is now the showrunner. Emilíana Torrini
Emilíana Torrini (born 16 May 1977) is an Icelandic singer and songwriter. She is best known for her 2009 single "Jungle Drum", her 1999 album '' Love in the Time of Science'', and her performance of " Gollum's Song" for the 2002 film '' The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers''. Early life Emilíana was born in Iceland, where she grew up in Kópavogur. At the age of seven, she joined a choir as a soprano, until she went to opera school at the age of 15. Her father, Salvatore Torrini, is Italian (from Naples), while her mother, Anna Stella Snorradóttir, is Icelandic. Because of name regulations in Iceland at the time, her father had to change his name to "Davíð Eiríksson", which also meant that Emilíana had to use the surname after her father in the traditional way. Umbrellas (band)
The indie rock band Umbrellas was formed in 2005 by former The Lyndsay Diaries frontman, Scott Windsor (musician), Scott Windsor. After they fulfilled their contract with The Militia Group, freeing them up to record and release their Beach Front Property EP in June 2007. Their sound is, at times, very mellow and atmospheric, yet can also lean toward a more modern/electro-pop sound. With their debut album recorded in a pseudo-haunted house, and their second album recorded in an abandoned comedy club, there are auras of emptiness and darkness swirling throughout the music. Their song "The City Lights" was featured during the climax of the ''Grey's Anatomy'' episode "Into You Like A Train," and "Ships" was featured during the ''Grey's Anatomy'' episode "Great Expectations, as well as the 7th episode of the 1st season of the tv series "Jericho"."
