Interview (2010 Film)
''Interview'' is a German short film from 2010. It was directed by Sebastian Marka. The 20-minute thriller film starring the German actors Stephan Grossmann and Florian Panzner was screened at numerous German and international film festivals and received many awards. Plot The alleged serial killer Tillmann grants an interview to the ambitious reporter Lennart. They meet for a secret and exclusive interview in a hotel. There, the killer reveals explosive details of his murders and has even brought along some trophies. The eager journalist Lennart, who has been following the murders and their backgrounds with great interest for quite some time, already sees himself on the front page of his newspaper with his sensational story about Tillmann. However, the interview suddenly tilts, when everything points to the fact, that Lennart's wife Antje might have been Tillmann's last murder victim. Sebastian Marka
Sebastian Marka (born 1978 in Geneva, Switzerland) is a German film director and editor. Life and work Sebastian Marka was born in Geneva in 1978 and grew up in Königsbach-Stein near Karlsruhe. After completing his Zivildienst (alternative civilian service), Marka began studying at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a degree in ''Film & Media''. While still being a student, Marka began working as a film editor. He edited commercials, short- and feature films. After graduating, he continued his editing work and was responsible for editing several Television productions such as Unschuldig or 100 Code, an internationally co-produced Swedish crime drama series. Oaxaca FilmFest was an eight-day long international film festival that was permanently cancelled in 2022 without taking place, once it could no longer hide the fact that it devolved into a calculated scam to prey on unknowing filmmakers. At its start, the festival was held every autumn in the Mexican city of Oaxaca from 2010 - 2019, and again from 2021.
