Interstate 135 In Kansas
Interstate 135 (I-135) is an approximately auxiliary Interstate Highway in central and south-central Kansas, United States. I-135, which is signed as north–south, runs between I-35 and the Kansas Turnpike in Wichita north to I-70, U.S. Highway 40 (US-40), and US-81 in Salina. Except for the first , I-135 overlaps US-81 its entire length. The route also runs through the cities of McPherson, Newton, and Park City. The highway was designated as Interstate 35W (I-35W) until September 1976, when it was renumbered as I-135 to conform to new AASHTO policies that eliminated most suffixed Interstate Highways. It is the longest three-digit "spur", with an odd first digit, in the Interstate System until the completion of I-369 in Texas. In 2021, work began to rebuild the northern junction with I-235. I-369 (Texas)
Interstate 369 (I-369) is a north–south Interstate spur route running through Northeast Texas. Once complete, the freeway will begin at an interchange with I-69/ U.S. Highway 84 (US 84) east of Tenaha and head northward to Carthage, Marshall, Jefferson, and Atlanta before terminating at an interchange with I-49/ US 59/ US 71 north of Texarkana. A cloverleaf interchange is a two-level interchange in which all turns are handled by slip roads. To go left (in right-hand traffic; reverse directions in left-driving regions), vehicles first continue as one road passes over or under the other, then exit right onto a one-way three-fourths loop ramp (270°) and merge onto the intersecting road. McAdams is a neighborhood in Wichita, Kansas, United States. A mixed industrial and residential area northeast of Downtown Wichita, it is a historical center of the city’s African American community. History Despite prevalent racism and segregation in the early decades of Wichita history, an active African American community and business district developed northwest of the Old Sedgwick County Courthouse in what is today Midtown.
