Rugby League
Rugby league football, commonly known as just rugby league and sometimes football, footy, rugby or league, is a full-contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular field measuring 68 metres (75 yards) wide and 112–122 metres (122 to 133 yards) long with H shaped posts at both ends. It is one of the two codes of rugby football, the other being rugby union. Maika Sivo
Maika Sivo (born 3 October 1993) is a Fijian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a er for the Parramatta Eels in the National Rugby League (NRL) and Fiji at international level. Background Sivo grew up in Nadi, Fiji. Sivo played his junior rugby league for the Gundagai Tigers before playing for St. Mary's in the Ron Massey Cup. He then moved to the Mounties signing with their NSW Cup team in 2016, scoring 35 tries. Sivo signed with the Penrith Panthers until the end of the 2018 season, scoring 12 tries in his first season with the club's lower grade. In 2018, he signed a two-year deal with the Parramatta Eels. Matt Cecchin is an Australian former rugby league referee who officiated in the NRL between 2001 and 2021. Cecchin has officiated international matches at the 2011 Four Nations and 2017 World Cup, and domestic representative matches in all three games of the 2017 State of Origin series. Referee career Cecchin began his career by overseeing Metro Cup matches. He made his first grade debut when he took over from an injured Steve Clark at halftime of a New Zealand Warriors and Northern Eagles match on 1 June 2001. Leichhardt Oval is a rugby league and soccer stadium in Lilyfield, New South Wales, Australia. It is currently one of three home grounds for the Wests Tigers National Rugby League (NRL) team, along with Campbelltown Stadium and Western Sydney Stadium. Prior to its merger with the Western Suburbs Magpies, it was the longtime home of the Balmain Tigers, who used the ground from 1934–1994 and 1997–1999. It was named after Ludwig Leichhardt. As of July 2012, Leichhardt Oval is the most played-on Australian professional rugby league ground in active use in the National Rugby League, having hosted 794 games since Balmain played its first game at the ground against Western Suburbs in Round 1 of the 1934 NSWRFL season, held on ANZAC Day, Wests winning the game 18-5. Viliame Hekmatzadah "Bill" Kikau (born 5 April 1995) is a Fijian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL, and Fiji at international level. He previously played for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League, and is a dual NRL premiership winning player of 2021 and 2022.
