International Revolutionary People's Guerrilla Forces
The International Revolutionary People's Guerrilla Forces (IRPGF) was a collective of anarchist fighters from around the world. Its formation was announced on 31 March 2017. According to the group, their goals were to defend the social revolution in Rojava in northern Syria, and to spread anarchism. The group announced its dissolution on 24 September 2018. The IRPGF had been part of the International Freedom Battalion since April 2017. Turkish media have described them as a terrorist organization and part of the network of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party. Affiliation The group was a part of the International Freedom Battalion since April 2017, and they are the second anarchist group to join after the Greek unit RUIS. They participate frequently in the campaign activities of the brigade in social networks. Rojava Conflict
The Rojava conflict, also known as the Rojava Revolution, is a political upheaval and military conflict taking place in northern Syria, known among Kurds as Western Kurdistan or Rojava. During the Syrian civil war that began in 2011, a Kurdish-dominated coalition led by the Democratic Union Party (Syria), Democratic Union Party as well as some other Kurds, Kurdish, Arabs, Arab, Assyrian people, Syriac-Assyrian, and Syrian Turkmen, Turkmen groups have sought to establish a new Constitution of the North and East Syria, constitution for the ''de facto'' autonomous region, while military wings and allied militias have fought to maintain control of the region. The Marxist–Leninist Armed Propaganda Unit ( tr, Marksist Leninist Silahlı Propaganda Birliği, abbreviated as MLSPB), known fully as the People's Liberation Party-Front of Turkey/Marxist–Leninist Armed Propaganda Unit (THKP-C/MLSPB) is a Marxist–Leninist organization in Turkey. The group is a split from the People's Liberation Party-Front of Turkey. It was among the founding members of the Peoples' United Revolutionary Movement, formed in March 2016, with the Kurdistan Workers' Party and seven other socialist organizations. Activity 1980s In April 1980, members of the group shot dead an American naval officer and his driver. Chief Petty Officer Sam Novello and his driver, Ali Sabri Baytar, were shot dead in Turkey by three assailants who then were captured while trying to escape on motorcycle. ''la Repubblica'' (; the Republic) is an Italian daily general-interest newspaper. The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), also known as Rojava, is a de facto autonomous region in northeastern Syria. It consists of self-governing Regions of North and East Syria, sub-regions in the areas of Afrin Region, Afrin, Jazira Region, Jazira, Euphrates Region, Euphrates, Raqqa, Al-Thawrah, Tabqa, Manbij and Deir ez-Zor Governorate, Deir Ez-Zor.
