The International Emmy Award for Best Arts Programming is presented by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (IATAS) to the best arts programs produced and initially aired outside of the United States. Rules and regulations Under the rules of the International Academy: arts programming is a program dedicated to an art form or artist(s) (i.e. performance, art documentary, art series, or combination thereof). If the program is part of a continuous series of self-contained episodes (i.e. each episode has its own storyline with a conclusion; or each episode may have a different director and/or producer; or series has the potential to go on for multiple seasons), then each episode must be submitted as a separate entry. ''John Peel's Record Box'' is a documentary film made by Elaine Shepherd, released on 14 November 2005 on Channel 4. It was nominated for Primetime Emmy Award. __TOC__ Contents The box contains a small private collection of the British radio DJ John Peel who died in 2004 at the age of 65. Peel's main archive contained more than 100,000 vinyl records and CDs. This smaller collection is 143 singles, some of them doublettes, stored in a wooden box representing some of his favourites. ''Variety Film Reviews'' is the 24-volume hardcover reprint of feature film reviews by the weekly entertainment tabloid-size magazine ''Variety'' from 1907 to 1996. Film reviews continued to be published in the weekly magazine after the reprints were discontinued.
