International Community Radio Taipei
International Community Radio Taipei (ICRT; ) is Taiwan's only English-language radio station. Prior to 1979, the station served the U.S. military personnel in Taiwan as the Armed Forces Network Taiwan (AFNT). When the United States broke diplomatic ties with the Republic of China in 1979, the American business community, with the help of the ROC government, reorganized the station into ICRT. National Immigration Agency
The National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior (NIA; ) is the statutory agency under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of China (Taiwan) which is responsible for immigration, entry and exit security, border services and registration of foreigners. The agency is headed by the Director General. The current Director-General is Jeff Jia-Jun Yang. The agency does not manage customs which is managed by the Ministry of Finance. It is located on a plot of land near the Chinese Culture University in Shantzehou (山仔后, or Shanzihou) with around 150 old American buildings—for U.S. Military officers, Advisors and their dependents in Taiwan—in various states of preservation. The Government Information Office, Executive Yuan (GIO; ) was a cabinet-level agency of the Executive Yuan of Taiwan (the Republic of China) in charge of promoting government policies and regulating domestic media.
