Internapoli F.C.
Internapoli Football Club was an Italian association football club based in the Vomero area of Naples, Campania. Founded in 1909 as S.C. Vomero, the club has been re-launched several times, first in 1935, under the auspices of Cral Cirio, and later, in 1964, under Internapoli dominion. The club have always played in the lower levels of Italian football. Their highest performance in the league was two 3rd-place finishes in Serie C during the late 1960s. Internapoli have had more notable success in the cup, winning the Coppa Italia Dilettanti, the amateur variation of the Coppa Italia in 1980. In the 2009–10 and 2010–11 seasons, Internapoli played in Eccellenza Campania. In the 2011–12 season, it played in the Serie D as ''Internapoli Città di Marano''. Stadio Arturo Collana
Stadio Arturo Collana is a football stadium in Naples, Italy; it is located in the Vomero area of the city. The stadium was built in the latter part of the 1920s, originally under the name Stadio XXVIII Ottobre. History The stadium was named after Arturo Collana, a sports journalist among the founding members. S.S.C. Napoli were official tenants of the stadium during the 1933–34 season onwards, as their stadium Stadio Giorgio Ascarelli was having problems. After the World War II it was for a time renamed Stadio della Liberazione; Napoli would continue using it until moving to their current home of Stadio San Paolo in 1959. For a period of time starting in the 1960s a club from Naples called Internapoli played at the stadium, but they have since moved. 2010–11 Eccellenza
The Eccellenza (, "excellence") is the fifth level (since 2014–15) of Italian football. It is a regional league, composed of 28 divisions divided geographically. All 20 regions are represented by at least one division except for Piedmont and Aosta Valley which share 2 divisions. Veneto, Tuscany, Sicily, Emilia-Romagna and Campania also have 2 divisions each, while the regions of Lombardy and Lazio have 3 divisions. Promotion and relegation After the regular season is completed, the first-placed team for each division is automatically promoted to Serie D. Each division also admits one other team to participate in national playoffs that take place in late May and early June. Torre Annunziata (; nap, Torr'Annunziata) is a city and commune in the Metropolitan City of Naples, region of Campania in Italy. It is located on the Gulf of Naples at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. History The city was destroyed in the Vesuvius eruption of 79 AD and in 1631. It is known locally in the Neapolitan dialect as Torre Nunziata. The Prima Categoria is a level of football in Italy. It is the seventh level (since 2014–15) in the Italian football league system and is organized by the National Amateur League by the Regional Committees. Each individual league winner within the Prima Categoria level progresses to their closest regional league in the Promozione level. Giorgio Chinaglia
Giorgio Chinaglia (; 24 January 1947 – 1 April 2012) was an Italian footballer who played as a striker. He grew up and played his early football in Cardiff, Wales, and began his career with Swansea Town in 1964. He later returned to Italy to play for Massese, Internapoli and S.S. Lazio in 1969. Chinaglia led Lazio to the club's first league championship in the 1973–74 season, during which he was also the league's leading scorer. He played international football for Italy, making 14 appearances and scoring 4 goals between 1972 and 1975, including two appearances at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. Chinaglia was the first player in Italian football history to be called up internationally from the second division. In 1976, Chinaglia left Lazio to sign with the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League.
