Interactive Museum EPM
The Interactive Museum EPM is in Medellín, Colombia. It is part of the Barefoot Park and receives about a 1,000 visitors a day, mostly students. The museum provides an educational tour of 22 rooms spread over four buildings with technology explained in an entertaining way and guests interacting with the physical principles of water, energy, gas and telecommunications. Medellín ( or ), officially the Municipality of Medellín ( es, Municipio de Medellín), is the second-largest city in Colombia, after Bogotá, and the capital of the department of Antioquia. Barefoot Park
Barefoot Park ( es, Parque de los Pies Descalzos) is a zen-inspired public park in Medellín, Colombia. The park was funded by EPM and designed by architect Felipe Uribe de Bedout. The park includes a green area with gardens and bamboo, a sand area, and an area with water fountains. As suggested by its name, the park is playful in nature. Children and adults are encouraged to play in the park barefoot. The Barefoot Park was created between 1998 and 2000. Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) was established on 18 November 1955 as a residential public utilities company which, initially, only served the inhabitants of Medellin, Colombia its hometown. Intelligent Building EPM
EPM Intelligent Building ( es, Edificio Intelligente EPM), also known simply as the EPM Building, is the headquarters for the public utilities company Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) in Medellín, Colombia. The building is located at the intersection of the ''Avenida del Rio'' and Carrera 58, in a neighborhood known as La Alpujarra II. The building is surrounding by greenspace, a series of outdoor fountains, and a stand-alone cube near the building that houses an auditorium. Its modern architecture and construction has made it a symbol of contemporary Medellín. Plaza Mayor, Barefoot Park, and the Medellín Metropolitan Theatre are also nearby.
