Intelligence Regiment (Denmark)
The Intelligence Regiment ( da, Efterretningsregimentet, EFR) is a regiment of the Royal Danish Army. It was originally created as the Army Intelligence Centre ( da, Hærens Efterretnings Center), and was a collection of all intelligence units, created by the Danish Defence Agreement 2013-2017 on the basis of lessons learned in Afghanistan and Iraq. Following the Danish Defence Agreement 2018–23, the centre was upgraded to a regiment and the name was changed. Army Staff (Denmark)
The Army Staff ( da, Hærstaben) is the name of various military staffs in the Royal Danish Army. At multiple times it was the highest authority within the Army. History The original Army Staff was created following the first major restructuring following the Second World War, and consisted of the General Staff. It was responsible for war preparations (training and education), studies and planning. It supported the Army Command. After the Army Command was subjugated to the Defence Command in 1976, the Army Staff became the main command of the Army. Following the 1988 Defence Commission, it was decided that the Army Staff and the positions of Inspector of the Army would be disbanded and replaced with the Army Operational Command. Following the Danish Defence Agreement 2013–17, the Army Operational Command was disbanded, re-establishing the Army Staff. Psychological warfare (PSYWAR), or the basic aspects of modern psychological operations (PsyOp), have been known by many other names or terms, including Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Psy Ops, political warfare, "Hearts and Minds", and propaganda. Varde
Varde is a Danish city in southwestern Jutland and is the primary city in the municipality of Varde, in Region of Southern Denmark. In 2015 municipality changed its motto to "We in nature" to emphasize its rural atmosphere. The town has an old market environment and is located by Varde stream/river and is a short distance away from the beaches by the North Sea. These features make it a tourist destination.
