John R. Austin II (born September 26, 1973), better known by his stage name Ras Kass, is an American rapper. He is a member of the hip hop Supergroup (music), supergroup The HRSMN, along with Canibus, Killah Priest, and Kurupt in 2014. He is also a member of the group Golden State Warriors with Xzibit and Saafir. About.com ranked him No. 30 on their list of the ''Top 50 MCs of Our Time (1987–2007)'', while Pitchfork Media called him "one of the best rappers of all time." Biography Austin was born on September 26, 1973 and grew up in Carson, California. "I'm a Hustla" is a song by American rapper Cassidy released in the United States on February 28, 2005, as the lead single from his second studio album '' I'm a Hustla'' (2005). The song, which was produced by American musician Swizz Beatz, contains a sample from "Dirt off Your Shoulder" as performed by American rapper Jay-Z. The song reached number 34 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. Cutting Crew are an English rock band formed in London in 1985. They are best known for their debut album ''Broadcast'' and hit single, " (I Just) Died in Your Arms". History 1985–1986: Formation While still in his teens, Nick Van Eede (born Nicholas Eede) recorded a few UK solo singles in the late 1970s, and later was in the band The Drivers, which found success in Canada, particularly with their 1982 single "Tears On Your Anorak". While touring Canada, The Drivers had a support band called Fast Forward, whose line up included guitarist Kevin MacMichael.
