Borislav Tsekov
Borislav Tsekov ( bg, Борислав Цеков) (born 1972) is a Bulgarian constitutional lawyer. Between 2001 and 2005 he served as Member of Parliament#Bulgaria, Member of Parliament, representing the National Movement for Stability and Progress, National movement Simeon II until 2004, and then switched to the New Time Party. He was a member of the European Integration Committee, Legal Affairs Committee and the Committee on Local Self-government, Regional Policy and Urban development. He was also elected as Deputy Chairman of the Religious Affairs Ad Hoc Committee and the Ad Hoc Committee on Amendments to the Constitution. Sofia ( ; bg, София, Sofiya, ) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is situated in the Sofia Valley at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the western parts of the country. 2014 European Parliament Election In Bulgaria
The 2014 European Parliament election in Bulgaria was held on 25 May 2014 to elect the Members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria to the European Parliament as part of the larger European Parliament election. After a decision by the European Council in 2013, Bulgaria was allocated 17 seats in the European Parliament for the Eighth European Parliament. The election campaign officially began on 25 April 2014, one month before the election day.
