The Institut Superieur de Marketing du Luxe, also known as Sup de Luxe, is an institute that provides luxury management programs from bachelor's to MBAs. Sup de Luxe is part of the EDC Paris Business School. The institute is a "chair Cartier" and was created by professionals working in the luxury goods sector. The institute's goal is to prepare graduates for employment and careers in the luxury sector. Since its creation in 1990, more than 3,000 international students have graduated. The Order of Agricultural Merit (french: link=no, Ordre du Mérite agricole) is an order of merit bestowed by the French Republic for outstanding contributions to agriculture. When it was created in 1883, it was second in importance only to the Legion of Honour within the French order of precedence. History The order was established on 7 July 1883, based on the proposition of the then Minister of Agriculture Jules Méline, in an effort to adequately reward services to agriculture in view of the maximum number of the Legion of Honour that could be awarded yearly. Arts and Letters (April 1, 1966 – October 16, 1998) was an American Hall of Fame Champion Thoroughbred racehorse. Background Arts and Letters was a chestnut horse owned and bred by American sportsman and philanthropist Paul Mellon, and trained by future Hall of Famer Elliott Burch. Racing career Arts and Letters began racing at age two. He won two of his six starts in 1968, then at age three won two important Kentucky Derby prep races before finishing second in both the Derby and the Preakness Stakes to the undefeated California colt Majestic Prince.
