The ''Inside Soap'' Awards is a yearly British award ceremony run by ''Inside Soap'' magazine since 1996. The awards celebrate both British and Australian soap operas and their actors. The current soap operas nominated for awards are '' Casualty'', ''Coronation Street'', ''Doctors'', ''EastEnders'', ''Emmerdale'', ''Hollyoaks'' and '' Home and Away''. Now defunct soaps that were formerly nominated for awards are ''Take the High Road'', '' Springhill'', '' Sunset Beach'' ''The Bill'', '' Bad Girls'', ''Brookside'', ''Crossroads'', ''Family Affairs'', '' Night and Day'', '' Where the Heart Is'', '' Waterloo Road'', '' Holby City'' and ''Neighbours ''Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera, which has aired since 18 March 1985. ''Inside Soap'' is a weekly magazine published in the United Kingdom, released every Tuesday. It covers current and future storylines in soap operas in the United Kingdom, including '' Coronation Street'', ''Doctors'', ''EastEnders'', ''Emmerdale'' and ''Hollyoaks'' as well as dramas ''Casualty'' and '' Holby City'', and Australian soaps '' Home and Away'' and '' Neighbours'', which are broadcast in the United Kingdom. Night And Day (TV Series)
''Night and Day'' is a British mystery soap opera, produced by Granada Television for LWT, that first broadcast on 6 November 2001 on ITV, and ran until 5 June 2003. The series was launched as part of ITV's new early evening line-up, with an enormous amount of pre-publicity and trailers promoting the series. The series was written and created by acclaimed screenwriter Caleb Ranson, with other contributors to the series including John Jackson, Jessica Townsend, Cris Cole, Elizabeth Delaney, Jeff Dodds, Robert Fraser, Adrian Hewitt, Martha Jay, Charles Lambert, Ed McCardie, Adrian Pagan, Bradley Quirk, Tony Ramsay and Catherine Stedman. Jeff Hordley
Jeff Hordley (born 7 March 1970) is an English actor, best known for portraying the role of Cain Dingle in the ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale''. For his portrayal of Cain, he has been nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Actor at three ceremonies. Early and personal life Hordley grew up in Oldham, Greater Manchester where he attended North Chadderton Comprehensive, before he went on to gain a BA (Hons) Theatre Arts (Acting) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University School of Theatre in 1997. David Platt (Coronation Street)
David Platt (also Tilsley) is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. He was born on-screen during the episode broadcast on 25 December 1990. Dorothy "Dot" Branning (also Cotton) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera, '' EastEnders'', played by June Brown. In a special episode entitled ''EastEnders: Dot's Story'' (2003) a young Dot was played by Tallulah Pitt-Brown in flashbacks. June Brown
June Muriel Brown (16 February 1927 – 3 April 2022) was an English actress and author. She was best known for her role as Dot Cotton on the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' (1985–1993; 1997–2020).
